Casino Review – The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Casinos are full of fast-paced games that keep people on their toes and can lead to a rush like no other. The games can include anything from slots, to keno, blackjack and more. Some casinos even specialize in creating new games to attract players. There are many different ways to play casino games, but the most important thing is that they should be fun.

It is this elation that keeps people coming back to the casino and it is also why they are so popular. The thrill of being on the edge of your seat, waiting for the next card or spin is what draws people to casinos. Even if you lose, the adrenaline you get from gambling is enough to keep you coming back.

While there are plenty of reasons to gamble, the most common reason is that it is just a lot of fun. While the idea of a big jackpot is exciting, it is not as important to most players as the sheer enjoyment that they get from playing.

While Scorsese is clearly smitten by the business of gambling, he isn’t blind to its dark side. In a movie that contains truly hellacious violence (including a torture-by-vice sequence involving a popped eyeball and a sound-designed baseball bat beating), Casino reveals a town filled with deception, treachery, and avarice. While the characters are not exactly likeable, they remain compelling and convincing, and in the end, the audience is left feeling just a little bit sorry for everyone involved.
